The diploma program DAS Sales Executive is an executive program aimed at experienced managers and high-potential professionals across all sectors who work in marketing or sales and want to engage intensively with the topic of sales and marketing management. There are no requirements regarding previous qualifications.

This intensive course comprises 12 three-day modules, each focusing on a different topic. Each module runs from Tuesday to Thursday, with an evening program on Wednesday evening.

In the third module of each CAS, you can select a focus for your studies by choosing between two electives: an intensive seminar in product management or an intensive seminar in B2B marketing respectively between B2B marketing and managing sales processes. Visit the intensive seminars’ web pages for further information. If you are having difficulty deciding between the two electives, we would be happy to advise you and help you find the most suitable option for you.

You can obtain a module plan from the current edition of the course from the course leader.

We use various methods to ensure you can implement learning content in your company, including examining your performance in three areas. First, you must attend at least 90% of the classes for each module. Second, at the end of each module, you must submit a written paper to the seminar leader to demonstrate learning transfer (approx. ten pages; graded). Third, you will complete a group project across the modules. The task is to produce a written analysis of a topic and give a final presentation (both elements are graded).

The Diploma Thesis is your chance to work on a company-specific challenge and serves significantly to combine and implement your new knowledge.

Initiation

You initiate the diploma thesis phase by contacting the head of studies with suggested topics. Based on the topic selection, you will be assigned a supervisor who will support you methodically and in terms of content when writing the thesis. The timing of the thesis is up to you. However, we recommend completing at least one CAS and then writing the thesis.

Writing phase

After you have completed the disposition, you and your supervisor will determine the start date of the thesis. The deadline for submission is three months after the start date. During the three months, you can contact your supervisor for questions regarding content and methodology.

Delivery

After timely submission, we will review your thesis, and you will receive detailed feedback and grading. After completing both CAS courses and the thesis, you will receive your diploma.

Admission to the course is at the discretion of the program director. They will take into account your professional background, qualifications and completed training. An academic university-level degree or qualification is not a precondition of admission.

As our intensive courses are often fully booked well in advance, we recommend contacting the seminar leader right away. Making a reservation is the best way to secure a place with no obligation to proceed and also gives you time to make any internal organizational arrangements.

The total participation fee is CHF 29500 for 36 study days (12 modules of 3 days each). This includes all documents, books, lunch and break catering. Not included are the costs for arrival and departure, accommodation, dinner and social evening events.
