Katja Feige is head of Custom Executive Programs at the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight at the University of St.Gallen (IMC-HSG). In this function, she develops custom executive education programs for companies.

After receiving her doctorate at the University of St.Gallen at the chair of leadership and human resource management, she launched Euroforum Schweiz AG. As one half of a two-person team, she scaled Euroforum Schweiz AG from a start-up to a conference and seminar provider with 23 employees and organizing up to 120 events per year.

Afterwards, she led the Swiss location marketing efforts in Germany at Osec (now Switzerland Global Enterprise) as its chief representative in Germany.

In 2016, Katja Feige developed the smart city exhibition “SmartSuisse” for Messe Schweiz AG. With more than 580 participants from 130 cities and municipalities in only its second year, the event became the leading smart city exhibition in Switzerland.

From 2018 until 2021, she was part of the smart city team at SBB AG and helped to design the Smart City Lab Basel, which was implemented in collaboration with the canton of Basel-Stadt. The Lab served as a platform that facilitated exchange and experimentation for Smart City projects. The team recruited more than 50 pilot projects, which were small businesses, academic institutions or parts of government. At the Smart City Lab Basel, Katja Feige was responsible for events and pilot projects in the field of smart energy.
