Seminar- & Event Organization / Assistant to Prof. Dr. Sven Reinecke

Vita

Katja Söllner is Team Assistant to Prof. Dr. Sven Reinecke at the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight at the University of St.Gallen (IMC-HSG). At the IMC, she is responsible for the Seminar and Event Organization of the excellence program Best Practice in Marketing.

After graduating from high school, she studied Pedagogy and Sports Education M.A. at the universities in Augsburg and Regensburg.

After successfully completing her degrees, she moved to St.Gallen, Switzerland, to start working in an international boarding school in 2001. There she worked as a teacher for sports and German as a foreign language as well as a head and supervisor of a girls’ house. In 2005 she changed position and worked as a Management Assistant until 2017.

Since August 2017, she has been part of the team of Prof. Dr. Reinecke. Her focus is on the organization of the events of the excellence program Best Practice in Marketing. In addition, she organizes the seminar Strategisches Marketing für Krankenhäuser und Spitäler by Prof. Dr. Sven Reinecke in cooperation with rotthaus.com and is also responsible for student inquiries about bachelor and master theses and topic management.

Katja Söllner is also a DOSB tennis trainer C and B (Leistungssport) and worked part-time as a tennis trainer for various clubs in Bavaria, at the University of Augsburg, and most recently at the TC St.Otmar in St.Gallen until 2017.
