Vita

Dr. Meriton Ceka is a Project Manager and Postdoc under Prof. Dr. Sven Reinecke at the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight at the University of St. Gallen (IMC-HSG). At the IMC, he coordinates executive education programs and company-specific training initiatives. Additionally, he supports the Best Practice in Marketing knowledge exchange program. Alongside his role at the IMC, he serves as a lecturer in Sports Management and Sports Marketing at both the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons (FHGR).

After graduating from Kantonsschule Wil (Gymnasium), he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Master’s degree in Corporate Management at the University of St. Gallen. He subsequently earned his doctorate at the IMC, focusing on digital activation in sports sponsorship.

Dr. Ceka’s professional experience in digital marketing spans the consumer goods industry, agencies, start-ups, and various sports organizations. Since 2016, he has been actively involved in executive education at the University of St. Gallen.

As an entrepreneur, he founded Webface, an agency specializing in digital marketing solutions.

Through CVisiora, digitally savvy graduates assist professors in building a strong personal brand.

Committed to equal opportunities, he founded Delta Lektorat, the leading platform for academic editing services and coaching, operated by graduates for students.

Dr. Meriton Ceka is an avid martial artist and has been the Managing Director, competition trainer, and partner at Azem Kampfsport in Winterthur and Wil since 2017. On weekends, he can be found on the football field as a referee for FC St. Gallen. His passion for sports and marketing drives his research in sports marketing and sports management, with a particular focus on digital activation in sports sponsorship and B2B marketing in sports.
