Meriton Ceka is a doctoral student and research associate with Prof. Dr. Sven Reinecke at the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight at the University of St.Gallen (IMC-HSG). At the IMC, he is the study director of the B2B Marketing and Key Account Management programs and supports the team in the experience exchange program for companies Best Practice in Marketing.
After graduating from the Kantonsschule Wil (Gymnasium), he completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in business management at the University of St.Gallen.
In digital marketing, Meriton Ceka has already gained experience in the consumer goods industry, in agencies, start-ups, and various sports clubs. Since 2016, he has been working in continuing education at the University of St.Gallen. Meriton Ceka is an enthusiastic (martial) athlete and, since 2020, trainer and partner at AZEM Budaya Center in Wil, a martial arts club. He can be found on the soccer field as a referee for FC St.Gallen on the weekends. His passion for sports and marketing has led him to dedicate himself to research in sports marketing. Current topics are digital activation in sports sponsorship and business-to-business marketing in sports.
