Michal Elhanan is a doctoral candidate and research associate to Prof. Dr. Reto Hofstetter at the Institute of Marketing at the University of St.Gallen.
Michal holds a B.Sc. in Physics and an MBA specializing in big data analytics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In her MBA thesis, she explored the effects of various staff members on emergency department crowding.
During her studies, Michal worked as a research assistant at the Hebrew University Business School, gaining significant research experience. She also worked as a Data Analyst at SimilarWeb, where she specialized in extracting insights from vast datasets.
With a strong quantitative background and a deep interest in technology, Michal’s research focuses on the intersection of marketing and emerging technologies, particularly Human-GenAI cooperation and data-intensive research.
