Mischa Sperlich

Research Associate & Doctoral Candidate

Mischa David Sperlich is a PhD Candidate and Research Associate at the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight at the University of St.Gallen (IMC-HSG). His doctoral research is supervised by Prof. Dr. Sven Reinecke. Additionally, he serves as the Programme Manager of the CAS Strategic Procurement Management.

Furthermore, he lectures at the Swiss Distance University of Applied Sciences (FFHS) in the fields of General Management and Economics. Over the course of an academic year, he teaches five courses – two in General Management, two in Economics, and one interdisciplinary course that combines both fields.

He is highly enthusiastic about conducting research and teaching in an interdisciplinary and practice-oriented manner. Mischa completed his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of St.Gallen and his Master’s degree in Management at the Nova School of Business and Economics.

Entrepreneurship is one of Mischa’s great passions. Before starting his PhD, he was involved as a co-founder in building a B2B SaaS startup.
