Nikolas Koepfer is a Research Associate and PhD student at the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight at the University of St. Gallen (IMC-HSG).
His research interests lie at the intersection of marketing strategy and consumer psychology, focusing on the psychological mechanisms that shape consumers’ responses to marketing stimuli. He aims to develop marketing strategies that are not only more effective but also emotionally sustainable.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the bilingual University of Fribourg and his Master’s degree in Psychology from Ruhr University Bochum. Before joining the University of St.Gallen, he gained professional experience as a working student in the marketing team at Red Bull, among others.
