Monitor: Direct Business in Times of Social Distancing & Lockdown

A first analysis of current initiatives and challenges

The COVID19 crisis led to the closure of stationary stores such as restaurants and bars. Many of these companies are therefore pursuing the option of direct business through e.g. home deliveries or takeaway. Marcus Schögel, Severin Lienhard and Mauro Gotsch have investigated current initiatives of different companies. The results were compiled in a Digital Marketing & Sales Monitor and help the companies to establish or improve their direct business by means of a checklist. By means of analyzed case studies and identified success factors, learning from other organizations can also be achieved. Because one thing is for sure: “Practice, practice, practice” is mandatory!
