Friederike Rieder studied Communication Science and Political Science and International Technical and Economic Cooperation at RWTH Aachen University and the University of Bern. In addition to her master’s degree, she holds an MBA from the University of St.Gallen (HSG).
After her studies, she initially worked as an event manager at the RWTH International Academy, where she supervised programs for executives from a wide range of industries.
At the University of St.Gallen (HSG), Friederike Rieder was initially responsible for company-specific programs as a program manager at the Executive School. From 2010, she was responsible for the overarching marketing at the Executive School. Since May 2021, Friederike Rieder has been head of Executive Education at the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight at the University of St.Gallen. Her responsibilities at the Institute include all CAS and DAS programs as well as short and intensive seminars for individuals who wish to further their education in the areas of marketing and communication, sales and purchasing.
