Susanna Maurer is a research associate (postdoc) to Prof. Dr. Sven Reinecke at the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight at the University of St.Gallen (IMC-HSG). At IMC, she leads the executive education education programs CAS Marketing Management and AI-Driven Marketing. Previously, she served as the editor in chief of the marketing journal Marketing Review St.Gallen and organizing and conducting management workshops as part of the Best Practice in Marketing excellence program. In addition, she teaches marketing at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons (FHGR).
After her apprenticeship as a Eurokauffrau at the machine manufacturer Krones Group in Neutraubling, she completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration at the University of Bayreuth, specializing in marketing and strategic management.
During her studies, Susanna Maurer worked in consulting with a focus on brand strategies and for an automotive manufacturer in customer experience manage-ment.
Since December 2020, Susanna Maurer has been working at IMC and conducting research in the field of B2B marketing. The topic of her dissertation was the success factors and actors roles in the buying ecosystem of B2B2C companies.
