Susanna Maurer

Research Associate & Doctoral Candidate


Susanna Maurer is a doctoral candidate and research associate to Prof. Dr. Sven Reinecke at the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight at the University of St.Gallen (IMC-HSG). She is the editor in chief of the marketing journal Marketing Review St.Gallen and responsible for the organization and implementation of certain Best Practice in Marketing events.

After her apprenticeship as a Eurokauffrau at the machine manufacturer Krones Group in Neutraubling, she completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration at the University of Bayreuth, specializing in marketing and strategic management.

During her studies, Susanna Maurer worked in consulting with a focus on brand strategies and for an automotive manufacturer in customer experience management. In addition, she was an active member in the student initiative Market Team e. V. and was team leader of the Bayreuther Ökonomiekongress, the largest student-organized business conference in Europe.

Since December 2020, Susanna Maurer has been working at IMC and conducting research in the field of B2B marketing. Current topics of her research are relationship dynamics and B2B2C.
